Fine clock technology Made in Germany

The cloc is manufactured with high precision using state-of-the-art CNC technology. Assembly is carried out through meticulous handcrafting. Piece by piece, the cloc is lacquered, assembled, soldered, and screwed together in our workshop. After a thorough quality inspection, each clock undergoes a multi-day testing phase. Only then is it shipped to the customer.

The Christmas season is peak season for cloc-design. Watches are shipped almost daily. The most popular color is orange.

Every tenth clock is checked for rotational accuracy. This ensures that no errors creep into the routines of serial production.

Before delivery, each cloc is fully charged once again. With this charge, it will run for more than a year.

The cloc was developed by us and is built exclusively by us. There is no comparable clock in the world.

cloc showcase

Each clock is run in for one week before leaving our workshop. Only then is it fitted with its coloured housing and shipped out.

The hands are individually finished with an elegant matte lacquer surface. This also makes it easy to realize custom colors.

cloc mechanism

In a dust-proof cabinet, the drive units wait to be connected to the housing.

In three carefully applied layers, the lacquer is finished to refine the cloc hands to the highest standards.

A particularly matte lacquer ensures a sophisticated, gloss-free surface for the hands.

The velvety matte surface absorbs reflections and presents the shape of the hand in a non-reflective, pure form.

Precise laser-cut

Even from the back, the cloc is an elegant piece. The reverse sides of the hands are made of anodized aluminium. They are cut with high precision using laser technology. Each hand is then individually engraved with a serial number using laser engraving.

Elegant appearance

A decisive step for the elegant appearance of the cloc is the finishing process: after sanding, the hands are coated in three layers to achieve a velvety matte surface. Reflections that could disturb the interplay of forms are almost completely avoided thanks to a finely textured finish.

As we are increasingly receiving requests from interior architects and designers who would like the cloc in a custom finish, we now offer the cloc in a colour of your choice for just €15 extra.

High-tech in the workshop

By manufacturing on site, we are able to keep delivery times short. Some technical components of the cloc are produced using 3D printing technology.

Smart electronics

The hands of the cloc are driven by two high-precision quartz clock movements from the Black Forest. A specially developed electronic system controls the perfectly synchronized movement of the two hands and manages the charging process. Power is supplied in an environmentally friendly way via rechargeable batteries, which are recharged approximately every 14 months through the integrated USB-C port.

Dimensions and space requirements

One hand of the cloc is approximately 30 cm long. As a result, the cloc moves within a display area of about 30 x 60 cm (W x H).
